Association of Environmental Scientists of Brazil
The 1st National Congress of Environmental and Socio-Environmental Scientists - CONAmb will be held in Brasília, in mid-2023. The event's main agendas are to bring together academics, companies and environmental professionals, to debate topics relevant to the market of environmental work and present AMB as an association, its goals and objectives for the regularization of the profession.
GOALS
Bring together the Environmental Scientists of Brazil to promote and encourage the exchange of experiences between the scientific, academic and professional communities in the area of Environmental Sciences;
Outline plans and goals and create conditions for the effective recognition and appreciation of the Class;
Allow AMB professionals and associates to meet to deliberate on the Institution's interests and guidelines and carry out its electoral processes;
Officialize all electoral procedures and legitimize the nominees who will occupy the positions of the Association;
To be an important academic and scientific experience of learning and updating of Environmental Scientists, with lectures, courses and debates;
Diagnose problems and promote solutions verified in the job market of the Environmental Scientist profession;
Consolidate the Association's guidelines for the achievement of its purposes and the due recognition and regulation of the profession of Environmental Scientist; and
Present the Code of Ethics for Environmental Science professionals.
Draft the bill that recognizes and regulates the profession of Environmental Scientist, aiming to file the same in the relevant legislative bodies;
